The passenger side power window regulator (actuator) on this 2000 Cheverolet / Chevy Silverado (also Suburban, GMC Sierra, and Yukon XL) had stopped working. It turns out that due to age, the cable system had rusted through and stopped operating.
In this video we explore the mechanics/DC motor/switches for the power window to determine what went wrong, why it is broken, what is needed to repair, and how to disassemble and reassemble the power window regulator system.
Definitely a do it yourself type of project with the parts costing anywhere from $26.49 online to $90.00 from our local dealership.
