This video shows the steps needed to replace a defective Xfinity / Comcast router with a new one.
We were notified by Xfinity / Comcast that our WiFi router was defective and in need of replacement. We then received a kit containing a new router and all of the instructions/hardware to make the repalcement.
We had been seeing a weird drop out, at midnight each night, of the WiFi signal from the Xfinity router. This replacement did actually eliminate the dropouts. All operation from the WiFi router seems normal now. This replacement was definitely needed.
